Hi everybody! This week I'm sharing an Anniversary card I made for my parents 50th Wedding Anniversary! Which is a fantastic feat in itself these days. Congratulations!!!! And this stunning card could also be a 50th birthday card for someone special too! It's gorgeous and elegant in gold.

For this project I knew I wanted lots of gold features for the 50th wedding tradition, but I wanted clean and elegant, not gaudy. lol. And I wanted an eclipse like card, because that's my new favorite technique these days. It's fun, try it and you'll be hooked. And I wanted to showcase this big fantastic floral stamp I won in a Honey Bee Stamps blog hop awhile back. Really! Because real people really do win in blog hops!
I started with a white 5x7" card base. Took a separate piece of white smooth cardstock and my MISTI tool and stamped this gorgeous large floral stamp with versamark clear ink, sprinkled with gold embossing powder, and heat set. Can you see this shine? It's stunning in person!
Next I die cut a white stitched square section from the embossed floral image. And die cut the "50" from that same square section. And set aside for later.
Adhered the bigger bottom panel of the gold embossed floral image to the card base and trimmed to fit the card base. Save leftover scraps. Then die cut a larger stitched square from gold metallic cardstock, adhered the white and gold squares together, and adhered to the front of the card, as shown in pics. Add gold metallic dots to complete the front.

The inside of the card I used a leftover scrap piece of the gold embossed floral image from the front and adhered to the bottom inside of the card.
Then I stamped and heat embossed a gold sentiment for the inside. And used my small Xyron sticker maker to adhere the "50" die cut pieces leftover from the front and placed on the inside. And I think it turned out pretty spectacular. What do you think?
