Hi everybody! Sorry I've been a bit out of touch this month. It is with great sadness that I announce the passing of my dear sister who lost her battle with breast cancer. I will miss her yesterday, today, forever, and always. She was a mother of twins too, a very special bond we both shared; a very talented graphic designer and an avid card maker; and she just loved the craft world.

October was very special for us because we both shared birthdays, her twins were born this month and we loved to go to the Stamp & Scrapbook Expo together to see new products, learn new techniques, and meet new crafty friends that shared our passion.
She never saw a moose in person, but loved them so much. Little did I know this would be the last birthday card I ever made for her. It reminds me of that cute movie "Open Season" and makes me laugh at how silly it was. And seems fitting for #breastcancerawareness month to use this soft pink cardstock to accent and frame the card too. Add a little embossing and a leafy border punch for some autumn flair. A touch of enamel bling and a colorful plaid patterned paper to tie the whole card together.
