I used my MISTI tool and lined up the floral stamp and stamped directly onto the navy script patterned paper with the amazing *NEW* Gina K Amalgam ink in jet black. It's a new ink that works with EVERY coloring medium from alcohol markers, colored pencils, direct ink coloring, to water coloring, and everything in between. No more bleeding, no stamped lines disappearing, and no smears. And the best part...is you don't have to think about which ink to use with what, you just grab this one ink pad and comes in a traveling mini cube too. It's easy peasy. And I Love it and you will too!
I decided to color these stunning flowers with alcohol markers to make them bright and vibrant. I choose 2-3 markers in yellow and green color families to blend well and you can't even see the script writing through the coloring. Cool, huh?
Alcohol markers will bleed through your paper though, so put something under you to protect your table or your project.
Next I stamped the border in this amazing rectangle stitched scalloped border stamp. And I bet you thought that was a die cut...it's not! It's an amazing new border stamp you can color in ANY color to frame your central image. Fun, right?
And I cut the corners with a corner rounder. Then stamped the sentiment from the same floral set to complete this panel.
Tip: if you have a ScanNCut Cutting Machine, you can stamp and scan this rectangle border stamp or they have a scallop circle boarder stamp set too. Then save the scanned image so you can cut it out perfectly every time for an instant "die cut" look. I know right...mind blowing cool, huh?
Adhere all the layers together and adhere to a sturdy A2 cardstock base card. Viola! There you have a gorgeous card that looks like you spent all day making. And change the sentiment and make a bunch of these to stock up your stash of all occasion cards. Thanks for stopping by and let me know what are some of your favorite Unity stamps!
