I stamped the sentiment and went over it with a red glitter pen for sparkle and cut out the strip and punched just the end to create the banner flags.
I love pattern paper....all of it. I horde it and I know you do too! But I am learning to let go and use it. LOL...And this is the perfect card to use some of your favorites or even your scraps. This school paper is great, with all the colors, subjects, graphics, and built in metal shimmer and would be great in school scrapbook albums too. And this spring paper goes perfect from top to bottom, with the birds, flowers, and clouds. So, I layered them with the sky blue double dot paper to create a Spring scene that Hank is flying over.
Adhere Hank and the banner in the sky to the card. Add a sticker diploma and graduation hat on Hank, along with this adorable measuring tape ribbon from my favorite local ribbon and embellishment store, that reminds me of a school ruler that fits this school theme. Add a gem, a pearl, and a googly eye for a touch of sparkle and whimsy. This rubber stamp of Hank is very versatile for many occasions. I’m looking forward to using him again for birthday, Halloween and maybe Christmas cards too…just change his hat! Congratulations to all the 2015 Grads, may you soar into your bright futures!!! ~Kim
