I started with a 5x7" black card base, cut strips of pattern paper and adhere to the card base. I found this festive pattern paper that already had the moon, a spooky tree, and all these birds and bats and adhered to the card base too. Stamp the fence on pattern paper, fussy cut it out, and adhere to the card, leaving the top loose to fit the kitties behind it, like they're sitting on the fence.
To make the kitties, I took a 1/8" hole punch and punched out yellow and pink circles for eyes and noses, and added black dots for eyes. Then I punched out three Epiphany Pennants (or banners) from purple, green, and teal pattern paper. And carefully placed the circles on the pattern paper to create their little faces. Next I took three Epiphany Pennant clear stickers and carefully placed over each face to seal them in and adhered to the pattern paper. I used a white gel pen to make triangles for ears, right on top of the epoxy. Then adhere the kitties to the card behind the fence. They remind me of those funny Hallmark cartoon characters, don't you think? lol And there you have special one of kind embellishments for your project.
To finish, layer and adhere two ribbons, add sticker sentiments, and a glittery ghost for more sparkle and fun. Now it's your turn to get your tools out and see what you can make that is out of the ordinary. And whether you celebrate Halloween or not, this fun card could be used for other occasions too or that special somebody who loves kitties, just change the paper.
Until next time...have a spooktacular October! ~Kim
