Not much. They are a dye based water ink, so they wash off easily. According to Ken Oliver, they are just a fancy new name Ranger came up with to call and sell their dye inks. I thought they used to have high/low colors when you stamped, but they don't. The color is solid and true when you stamp. But they are great colors and match their whole line of products from inks, stains, markers, etc...hope that explains them a little.
