Polka Dot Orchard Challenge of Thanks-Hostess Tag

Happy Thanksgiving week! As we're all running around grocery shopping, baking, and cooking to get ready for the big day, allow yourself a moment to stop and give thanks for your blessings, and maybe carve out some crafting time to relax and recharge. It won't take long to create a card or a tag for those family or friends hosting your special holiday meals that will be greatly received. Today I am sharing this darling hostess tag for our "Tag It Tuesday" series and to remind you of the Polka Dot Orchard Instagram Challenge that runs thru November 28, 2019. The theme of this challenge is 13 Days Of Thanks. What are you thankful for? I'm thankful for my family, wonderful friends near and far, good health, and my craft supplies, which some were acquired recently from late sister.

I started this tag by layering a few digital images and printed on white X-Press It cardstock. And colored the image with watercolor pencils and a light touch with a water brush. Using a die cutting machine and tag dies to cut it out and cut out a larger tag in a plaid pattern paper and adhered the two together. Traced over the sentiment with black sparkle pen to brighten it up. And added some clear sparkle pen on the leaves and baster too. Punched a whole in the top and added ribbon to complete this turkey tag and tied to a nice bottle of wine ready for our hostess.
