Hi everybody! Today I'm trying to get in the mood for Fall projects, even though it's 90* here in the South, but I found pumpkin spice creamer for my morning coffee (Yay!) and that's a good start!!! As I'm trying to get a jump on some Halloween projects and sharing this darling card with you all today that hides a spooky surprise too!

I started with an A2 green cardstock card base. Layered with an orange check print trimmed just slightly to show some green border and adhered to card base. Then cut a 3x5.5" strip of purple text patterned paper and adhered to panel. All of the pattern paper is coordinating from the same Halloween paper pad, which makes things super fun and easy.
Next I die cut a spiderweb tag from two coordinating pattern papers. One is the same purple text pattern to match and blend with the front panel and the other is a green/white large polka dot, adhered together, and set aside.

For the spooky scene I first stamped on white cardstock with the circle scallop using gray dye ink. Then stamped the haunted house using Gina K black ink (because it won't smear) and colored the windows, door, and moon with alcohol markers.
Added a touch of sparkle to the door and windows and added some eyeballs to a couple windows with a fine tip black pen. Then double dipped the sentiment in purple and black dye ink, stamped it under the house, and added black enamel eyes for some fun spookiness. And added some stickle glitter glue to the moon for extra sparkle.
Trimmed the image panel to fit the front and cut the corners with a corner rounded. Added some black dye ink around the edges for a spooky look.

Next grab the spiderweb tag we set aside earlier, lay it over the haunted house scene, as to cover it up, and using a paper piercing tool or small hole punch, make a small hole through both pieces. Add this fun screw brad through both, adhere the whole piece to the card with 3D foam tape to pop it up, and now you can move the tag back and forth over the haunted house easily.
And because every spiderweb needs a spider, I stamped and fussy cut this cute little spider and added a black enamel dot for his body, and adhered him to the tag too!

And for a little more bling I added yellow glitter enamel dots to the tag and green enamel dots to the white panel to complete this spooktacular interactive Halloween card.
SURPRISE!!! Now you see it...Now you don't! So cute, right?
