I chose a light blue polka dot pattern paper to soften the card up a bit. Stamped this cute giraffe in blue right onto the pattern paper and layered a piece of acrylic stars over the top. This card still needed something else. And this brass die cut frame was perfect, but again, the background was busy where the “so happy” was cut out and it was hard to read. So, I picked one of the coordinating sticker strips from this collection, but I needed the top side sticky so it would stick to the brass die cut and the color would show through. So I grabbed my sticker machine and now both sides of the sticker were sticky and I placed it behind the brass overlay and adhered to card.
I added a gem for the giraffe’s eye, a few randomly placed sticker hearts, and a precious bow with a couple buttons to finish it up. One of the things I love-love-love about collections…is that everything coordinates and you can use several layers, stickers, and embellishments and it all matches perfectly. Viola! Instant modern baby card. Happy Spring! ~Kim
