Happy Summer ya'll! Today I'm sharing a traveling masculine card I gave to my Dad for his birthday, but it could easily be great for Father's Day or Graduations too! I love the combination of brown/blue and I'm mad for plaid, so this was a nice combo with a vintage vibe. Not to mention this cool triple stamp technique that creates the illusion of flight or motion. Cool, right?
I started with a blue A2 card base, cut the plaid pattern paper just a 1/4" smaller, and adhered to card base. Next stamped the airplane three times in a row, without re-inking, on white cardstock. Then stamped the sentiment and heart contrail with a blue marker. Trimmed it to fit across the card. Cut a brown piece cardstock to matte behind image. Adhered the two pieces together and adhered to card. Added ribbon and gold glitter enamel dots to finish it up. And there you have a great versatile masculine card for any occasion. I hope I've inspired you to try this "motion" technique.
