This week I thought I'd show you one of the Easter cards I made using a masculine kit to create this cute little scene. I will show you how to use a scrapbooking or card making kit and repurpose it for another occasion, create bunnies from patterned paper, and how to make clouds and hedges out of circle die cuts.
I started with this masculine kit...really. I liked the green patterns, the plaid and some of the patterns looked liked Easter eggs. Don't you think? And when you use a kit, all the colors, patterns, and pieces coordinate nicely.
For my card base I chose a blue polka dot for the sky, which kind of looks like snow, because well...it can snow in the spring. Next I chose this fun green hexagon pattern as my grass. Cut equal panels and adhere to an A2 card base. And cut a thin strip of plaid patterned paper and adhere to center of card.
Thanks for stopping by! Happy Easter! ~Kim
