Hi Everyone! I'm excited to share with you my first Blog Hop sponsored by May Arts Ribbon & CardMaker. We were tasked to create something with gorgeous May Arts Ribbon with a Valentine's theme. This Blog Hop will give you a jump on tons of ideas to make for all your loved ones for the upcoming Valentine's Day, Anniversaries, Birthday's, and so much more.
For this Hop, I created an A2 sized card from red cardstock, punched out several hexagon pieces, used shiny red metallic foil, and created this beautiful heart from this gorgeous adhesive rose ribbon. Click the pictures above for more instructions and see below for materials list and blog hop.
I love hot air balloons. So, when I saw this next challenge I was inspired. And remembered this Graphic 45 Steampunk Debutante paper collection with the blueprint sketch balloons, die cuts, and frames that all coordinate. I love all the different things in flight: the wings, the airplane, the wings on the dress form, and the winged goddess. I started with DCWV metallic green cardstock and embossed with Quickutz strips & dots folder. Layered all the pieces and added a few eyelets, thickers ornate sticker, stickles glitter glue on the wings, and a spiral paper clip with a white and gold ribbon for a touch of sparkle. A great card with NO stamping!
I entered this card in:
