The top patterned paper I stamped with my favorite medallion stamp...really I LOVE this stamp. I seriously could use it everyday, all the time, for everything. lol. Anyhoo...as you can see from the picture on the left, I stamped with clear ink, sprinkled pink embossing powder, and heat set it. And it's gorgeous, shiny pink, with a vintage look that showed up great on this red background. And adhered this piece to the top of card base.
Next I stamped and embossed the sentiment on the other patterned paper, with the same pink embossing powder, heat set, and adhered to bottom of card base. Added this gorgeous pink rose ribbon and a pink pearl. And there you have a stunning birthday card for some special. Change the sentiment and it could be for Valentines, Mother's Day, and other special occasions too!
I hope I've inspired you to mix up your pattern papers, heat emboss on patterned paper, and use together with just a few embellishments to make a special card. Thanks for stopping by! ~Kim
