April Color Challenge: Black, White & 1 Other Color!
My project above I choose: Black, White, and Red as my third color. I love pattern paper and anything to do with music. I chose this Valentine paper because it mimicked the love and flow of music. And I love to reuse holiday paper in other ways. This all occasion card is perfect for any time of year. It is a white A2 sized card base and I inked the edges with black ink to give it a distress look. I cut the pattern paper 1/4" smaller, roughed up the edges, inked the edges, and adhered to card. On a sheet of red cardstock I stamped the music staff and sentiment with versamark clear ink, sprinkled with embossing powder, and heat set. Cut these pieces out, matte on black cardstock, and adhere to panel. On the same red cardstock I stamped music notes with versafine ink, cut it out, border punched the edge, and adhered to panel. Add a gem to finish the card and I kept it flat for mailing.
