Hi everybody! Who's ready for the warm sunshine of Spring? I am. I am. So I used this big bold sentiment stamp with all that Spring foliage to make a bunch of "thank you" cards to give to friends/family or to just keep on hand. I was taught from my mom, who learned from her mom, that it's good manners and proper etiquette to always thank people when they give you a gift. And I hope I've passed that down to my kids too.
I've been anxious to use this stamp with silver metallic embossing powder and heat set it, but the card front looked a little blah. So I ran a VersaMarker pen over the edges, dipped them in embossing powder and heat set all the edges to jazz them up. It gave them a vintage look and turned out pretty neat. I don't think it needs anything more, but maybe some bling. And I could of left them like that and that would have been fine...but...I didn't...(lol)

I adhered the blue "thank you" card front onto a piece of plaid patterned paper, because I'm mad for plaid, aren't you? And adhered the whole panel onto an A2 blue card base to match and added some sparkly metallic sequins.
The next card I stepped it a up just a touch and added some green ric rac ribbon down the side for a little more contrast.
I hope I've inspired you to make a whole bunch of these beautiful metallic A2 "thank you" cards that are great anytime of year, just change out the patterned paper and they will lay flat for easy mailing too!
