A personal note: October makes us "think pink" for breast cancer, get checked, or donate, support our loved ones, and celebrate the survivors. And this is near and dear to my family as we support my sister going through treatment. I am not a dr, nor in the medical field, so speak to your dr. But I do urge you to tell your grandmothers, mothers, sisters, daughters, and friends to "think pink" every month and every year. As 1 in 4 women you know will get breast cancer and early detection saves lives. You're never too young to get a mammogram and if you're 40+ years you should have one every year. And if you're ever told you have dense breast tissue, then insist on an ultrasound too. It could save lives. And it is your life..."think pink" and take charge of your health. xo
