Thinking of you...always...is a sentiment I like to use a lot. I try to make a bunch of these all occasion cards throughout the year, because something always comes up and I need a card. I made this card with just a few embellishments and scraps. Do you save scraps? How do you store your scraps? What do you do with yours? I've seen some fancy storage and organization ideas on Pinterest, but I just have a bin full of pattern paper scraps in no particular order, but it's in one place. So, every couple months I grab it and make cards from the scraps. Use what you've got, right?
For this A2 card I embossed right on the front side of the card base with this adorable bird and fine embossing folder. And just brushed it lightly with ink to make the image pop. You could use one of those fancy blender pads, but I just put some ink on a tissue and wiped it across. And that worked too.
Cut and adhere a strip of scrap paper. On a piece of white cardstock stamp the sentiment and I went over it with a glitter pen for some bling. Because it's got to sparkle. Punched it out with a circle punch. I think this one is 1.5" or 2" punch, adhered it to the flower, and adhered to the scrap paper strip. Placed some ric rac ribbon down the side. And added some light green and yellow pearls to finish it up. Viola! An easy peasy card made with just a few supplies.

Supplies: White blank cards/envelopes (at Michaels); Cuttlebug birds and swirls embossing folder; Scraps (I think this one is from October Afternoon collection); Crafty Secrets Clear Art Stamps: Grand Greetings; Ranger Tim Holtz mini ink: mowed lawn; Spica glitter pen-clear sparkle; Circle Punch; Doodlebug Ric Rac Ribbon; Adhesive Pearls; Petaloo flower; and Glue dots (great for adhering embellishments for mailing)
